Menu for Atwater Federal Prison Camp

Wednesday, 9 November 2011

Breakfast:

Today’s breakfast entree is one that I would have enjoyed, but my daily run precluded it. It was French toast. I love French toast. Here at the Atwater camp, the French toast is particularly tasty–fattening because it’s deep fried, but tasty. Anyway, I missed it, but I heard it was good. There was coffee and milk available, too.

Lunch:

The entree today was hamburgers and French fries, as always. I ate the fries and passed on the hamburgers, they’re beginning to lose their appeal to me. But the fries were crispy and hot. I ate a mound of them.

Dinner:

Pork chops for dinner. I’ve just been told they tasted like a piece of cardboard. So I guess I didn’t miss anything. Instead, I ate a bowl of chicken with grilled onions and peppers. That was good. The Atwater camp does serve a lot of cookies, and I like the chocolate chip version best, which I heard were served this evening.
