Atwater Prison Camp Daily Menu

Tuesday, November 15

Breakfast:

I didn’t go to breakfast.  I heard the chow hall served cake and oatmeal.  Milk and coffee were available, but no fruit.

Lunch:

I was surprised today, because  I had come to expect chicken for lunch at Atwater camp on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  But last Thursday we had tuna fish.  And today we had tuna fish.  That was fine with me.  I mixed my tuna fish with white rice and pinto beans and lettuce.  It was a good meal.  We also had chocolate cake, and I enjoyed three servings.

Dinner:

The  dinner entree was tacos, but they were not tacos as I remember from Taco Bell.  The server scooped ground beef, re-fried beans, and some kind of cheese blend on my plastic tray.  I received a large white, flour tortilla.  From what I remember, this was a beef and been burrito.  But it was called a taco.  Either way, it tasted good to me.
