Daily Menu at Atwater Federal Prison Camp

Saturday, 19 November 2011

Breakfast:

I was pleased to finish my exercise with sufficient time to eat breakfast.  The Atwater prison camp served bran cereal, a side of chocolate cake, and two bananas.  I mixed the chocolate cake in with the bran cereal as sweetener, then poured cold milk over it.  I carried the two bananas back to my locker.  I will eat those on Monday after my first hour of running.

Lunch:

I was visiting with my wife during the lunch meal today.  Another prisoner told me that the chow hall served a meatball sandwich.  I’m glad that I missed it.

Dinner:

This evening’s dinner was very good.  We had hard-shell tacos, ground beef, pinto beans, yellow rice, and a white cake that tasted very sweet.  With the quantities of food that we receive here at Atwater camp, I’m glad that I exercise every day.  Another prisoner told me how he gained 15 pounds in three weeks.  My weight would increase rapidly, too, if every I were to quit exercising.  That’s why I keep at it.

I don’t know why I find this so interesting, but somehow this is fascinating . Carole, if it’s possible for Michael to post a commissary order form I think that would be interesting too .
