Writing
Michael is a dedicated writer who wakes early each morning to begin what is usually a 16-hour day spent creating content, writing blogs, and writing articles for publication. He is a published author of six books, several blogs, and scores of articles.
Michael’s books, articles, and web sites are used as supplemental texts in numerous universities across the United States by professors who teach on the subjects of criminal justice, prisons, and the people they hold. Michael has also contributed to the education of hundreds of students who have written him directly as part of their assigned coursework.
Michael’s published work has helped thousands of prisoners and their familes face the challenges of the American criminal justice system and thrive through adversity.
